Yesterday it snowed in Austin Texas and the snowed stuck! Last time that happened was in 2004 and I was on my mission in California at the time, so I missed it! So yesterday was my first time really experiencing snow! So Lorena went out and played around in it for a while, and I learned three things.
1. Snow tastes suspiciously like ice, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth
2. Snowballs are actually a lot denser than they look in the cartoons
3. Slopes with snow on them can be quite slippery.
We also built my first-ever snowman "Snowy the Frostman". It was a really awesome day yesterday, and its a good thing i haven't found a job yet otherwise I'd have quit to play in the snow. Anyways I think I now have enough experience with snow and ice to single-handedly beat the Canadian olympic hockey team... in a snowball fight... and at hockey.
